About Fast Foot Jam
Fast Foot Jam is a dance festival for Collegiate Shag and Balboa dancers. It is a not-for-profit event organised by local dancers that are passionate about growing the jazz dance community and keeping people dancing when the music gets a little hot.
The inaugural Fast Foot Jam event took place June 20-22nd, 2025 in Marrickville, Sydney. Check out our 2025 Event Summary here and a video of the Saturday Night Fast Foot Ball above. Fast Foot Jam will return in winter 2027.
Fast Foot Jam aims to bring together dancers from across the country to share their love of partner dancing and explore dance styles well suited to fast jazz music such as Collegiate Shag, Balboa and the Lindy Hop. To achieve this, we provide a healthy balance of workshops, geek out sessions, performances, competitions and of course - social dancing with some of the best swing jazz musicians in Australia.
